Kaitlyn & Cullen were born in the same year, in the same city and attended high schools in the same neighborhood but the two didn’t cross paths in the real world until they started swiping left and right in the virtual one, looking for their Perfect Match!

He was a Central Catholic Viking, she an Oakland Catholic Eagle when they circled around each other but they were living different lives:  one Viking fighting his heart out on the Rugby Pitch and the Football Field, one Eagle soaring to Florida and the Cayman Islands.  The flame would not ignite in high school. 

When high school ended, Cullen ventured out to Wheeling, West Virginia and then made his way to the Big Apple, New York City.  Kaitlyn headed to The Windy City, Chicago. After college they both returned to the Steel City and the swiping left and right was underway!  

The evening they first met, neither will ever forget. For both of them time stood still as they sat in Mad Mex having drinks.  In reality, time marched on and for three or four hours the befuddled waiter kept asking if they wanted food.  Nervous and not caring if they ever ate, their eyes were locked on each other. After that night they both went home dreaming of the other and waiting for the next time they could be by each other’s side once more. They didn’t have to wait long as they immediately made another date for the next night, sharing a burger and fries as Cullen gazed into her eyes. He saw a big, bright future as he looked upon her beauty, hoping that she felt the same. 

The third date came the next night and it was a very special day, Valentine’s Day!  Cullen professed his love by bringing a big bundle of white roses, cookies, and other gifts.  He had guessed her love language!  And this is the day he asked her to be his girlfriend by writing a very special love letter for his beautiful woman!  Weeks went by and a sister returned from Florida. Kaitlyn confirmed the rumor that she had found her man, and her sister was ecstatically stunned, as was the whole family. 

More weeks went by and they never left each other’s side.  All the signs came together for a Farm engagement on romantic Skunk Hill! Since then they’ve been waiting for the day to say I do and they’re looking forward to being husband and wife forever and ever.
